Metal Depot is a family-owned metal panels and trims manufacturing company based in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, led by owner Mitch Dunnam. With deep roots in Pauls Valley and south-central Oklahoma, the Dunnam family has spent decades involved in real estate, building trades, and construction-related businesses.
Metal Depot continues that tradition by supplying high-quality metal panels and trims for builders, contractors, and property owners who expect dependable products and straightforward service - values that have defined successful metal manufacturers across the country for years.
About Our Roots
Mitch and his wife, Kimberley, began investing in residential and commercial real estate in the mid-1990s, starting with rental properties and mobile home parks. Those early projects taught them about job-site realities, budget constraints, and timelines that cannot slip.
Over time, they expanded into additional projects that sharpened their eye for product quality, installation details, and deadlines.
The family has more than 25 years of experience in flooring, countertops, and property investment - industries where small mistakes can create big problems on job sites. That experience shaped how Metal Depot operates today: with a clear respect for schedules, budgets, and the need for consistent, reliable materials.
How Metal Depot Started
After selling their flooring and fabrication business in 2023, Mitch briefly retired, but he continued researching his next venture. The metal rollforming industry stood out as a natural fit. It combined his knowledge of building products with long-term demand for durable roofing and siding solutions.
In 2024, Mitch and his son-in-law, Terry, attended METALCON in Atlanta, meeting with equipment manufacturers and industry leaders to evaluate the latest rollforming technology and best practices.
\The Dunnams then acquired a facility in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and remodeled it to house modern rollforming equipment, material storage, and efficient product flow. By early 2025, machines were installed, tested, and running. Metal Depot officially opened in September 2025, focused on serving contractors and property owners across Oklahoma and the surrounding region.
